Poole Hospital is an acute general hospital in Poole, Dorset, England. Built in 1907, it has expanded from a basic 14-bed facility into a 789-bed NHS foundation trust hospital. It is the trauma centre for east Dorset and provides specialist services such as cancer treatment for the entire county.

Location
Rail service is so good: just over two hours to London, two or so an hour; a few minutes to Bournemouth, 30 to Dorchester the other way.
Schools Very, very good. Too many primaries to mention but "outstanding" ones, says Ofsted, include: Ad Astra First, Old Town First, Lilliput CofE First, Baden Powell and St Peter's CofE Middle, St Mary's Catholic Combined, Oakdale South Road and Courthill First. Stanley Green First has "outstanding" features. Secondaries: St Edward's RC CofE, Ashdown Technology College, Carter Community Sports College all "good", Parkstone (girls) Grammar "outstanding" and Poole (boys) Grammar "good" with "outstanding" features.
